I design, build, and repair the electronics that make ideas real.

Embedded systems engineer in Toronto with 10+ years of hands-on experience, from concept and firmware to PCB layout, prototyping, and field testing. Currently building electronics for an autonomous lunar mining rover.

01 — about

From concept to working hardware

I'm an embedded instrumentation systems integrator with more than a decade of experience in electronics and software design. I take charge of every stage of embedded development: system conception, firmware design and testing, hardware prototyping, and final PCB design and validation. My background spans bioelectronics, sensor fusion, scientific instrumentation for astronomical observatories, autonomous platforms, and professional prototyping of new embedded product concepts.

I founded Rabbit Systems Inc., my Toronto-based embedded engineering practice, and I have delivered hardware for startups in insurtech, wearables, space robotics, and motorsport. Away from the bench I'm an avid hiker and urban cyclist, and I sculpt clay. Good hands matter in this trade.

05 — teaching & mentoring

I enjoy passing it on

Before moving to Canada I spent a year as an Electrical & Electronic Engineering professor at the National Technology Institute of Mexico, teaching advanced programming, instrumentation, and real-time programming while coaching students through their first hardware builds. Explaining a system clearly is part of engineering it well, and I bring that same mindset to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.

Have a hardware idea? Let's make it real.

I'm open to embedded systems roles and contract work with startups in Toronto and across North America. If you need someone who can take a product from a sketch to a validated PCB with working firmware, let's talk.
